A Fall Break

Mom and Dad and Tyler got to come join Chris and I for our last week in Florida two weeks ago. We had so much fun showing them around Jupiter, taking them to some of our favorite spots and even catching one last Marlin's game. We also of course spent time at the beach, exploring Miami and then drove up to Orlando to visit Universal with front line passes (thanks Dad and NBC!!) Guys, we went to Harry Potter World!!

Geography Question of the Day (I'm a geography minor...You didn't know that. Now you do.):

Why would Chris and Ashley drive all the way from Jupiter Florida (West Palm Beach area) to Tallahassee (<------I finally figured out how to spell it) Florida in one day AND THEN turn around a couple of hours later to drive back to Orlando for the night before driving the last 3 hours back to Planet Jupiter this morning??

As much as I love the summer I LOVE LOVE the fall. And I feel like we're missing it!! A couple of days ago Chris came home baffled as to why it was getting dark so much earlier than it has been...maybe because it's mid-September? We couldn't figure it out. Weird.

Snack That

Chris was sweet enough to find me some brand spanking new Butterfinger Snackerz this week to surprise me with. These little suckers only ruled my entire life the last semester of school for my capstone class. And now I can actually talk about them...AND, more importantly, eat them.

Don't mind if I do.

We got to celebrate a very special birthday yesterday with the best thing ever...a day off!

I might have accidentally gotten relight candles...remember how we live in a hotel and have very sensitive smoke detecters? And fire sprinklers? Whoops! There was definitely a moment of panic and histeria right after this picture was taken....right before we through those suckers in the toilet. Crisis averted.
